Before you cast off
Briefed, kitted out, and on the water in an hour.
Life jackets for everyone
Adult and child sizes fitted at the pontoon, and one for the dog if you ask.
A proper briefing
Twenty minutes on the controls, the locks and the speed limit, then a lap with one of us aboard.
Fuel in, cover if you want it
A full tank, unlimited miles, hull damage cover from $35 a day, and a phone number that answers on the water.
A day on the river
Out at nine, lunch at the pub, back for tea.

10:30Through the first lockWe show you how at the pontoon; the lock keeper does the rest.
12:30Moor at the riverside pubTheir mooring is free if you eat, and they expect our boats.
15:00Swim stop at the meadowA shallow shelving bank, and the best place for a paddle.
17:30Back at the pontoonTie up, hand back the key, and that is it. No refuelling.
