Book your first lesson
Your first hour behind the wheel
Pick a time and we will collect you from home, work or college. The first lesson is an assessment - no package to buy up front.
Manual or automatic
Both taught, in a dual-controlled car.
Nervous drivers welcome
We start on quiet roads, at your pace.
Learn to drive with someone who is actually calm
Manual and automatic, in a dual-controlled car, with the same instructor every lesson. Nervous drivers and returning drivers are genuinely welcome.

What we teach
Whatever stage you are at
Most people come to us having never sat in the driver's seat. Some come back after twenty years off.
Complete beginners
First lesson is in a quiet estate, not on a dual carriageway. We do not put anyone anywhere they are not ready for.
Manual and automatic
Both taught, both tested. If the clutch is what is holding you back, automatic is not cheating - it is a licence.
Refresher lessons
Passed years ago and lost your nerve, or moving somewhere that needs motorway confidence. An hour or two is often enough.
Intensive courses
A week of long sessions with the test booked at the end. Suits people with a deadline, and nobody else.
Mock tests
A full route on the real test roads, marked the way an examiner would. Far better to find the faults with us.
Pass Plus
Motorways, night driving and rural roads after you pass - the ones the test never covers, and where new drivers come unstuck.
How it goes
From never driven to licence
Get your provisional
Apply online before your first lesson - it takes about a week to arrive and we cannot start without it.
An assessment hour
We find out what you can already do and tell you honestly how many lessons it is likely to take. No packages sold on day one.
Weekly lessons
Same instructor, same car, same slot each week. Progress is tracked against the DVSA syllabus so you can see what is left.
Theory, then test
We book the practical once you are passing mocks, not before, and you take it in the car you learned in.

In their words
"I failed twice with another school and was ready to give up. Two months here and I passed with three minors. It was mostly that nobody shouted at me."
"Forty-three, terrified, hadn't driven since my twenties. Six refresher lessons and I drove to Cornwall in the summer."
"Told me straight that I needed more hours than I wanted to hear, and was right. I would rather that than be booked in and fail."
