About the shop

One shop, two of us, one rail at a time.

We buy a few pieces from each maker and wear them first. If they do not survive a season of us, they do not go on the rail.

Open Tuesday to Saturday. Come for a coffee and a try-on; there is no rush and nobody will follow you round.

How we choose

What gets onto the rail.

Cream and white dresses on wooden hangers
LOOK 04Natural cloth
A rail of wool jackets and a floor mirror
LOOK 05Made to be mended
Patterned blouses on wooden hangers by a window
LOOK 06Small makers
White shelves of bags and sandals beside a rail of shirts
LOOK 08The small things

Linen, cotton, wool and leather from makers who can tell us where the cloth came from. No seasonal sales, because nothing is bought in quantities that need one.

Rails of neutral and rust knitwear with a rubber plant

New in on Thursdays

Fewer pieces, chosen slowly.

New pieces land on Thursdays in small numbers. When a size is gone it is usually gone, so if you love something, ask us to hold it.
