The parish church

Everyone welcome, Sunday at ten.

A village church with a choir, a toddler group, a Thursday lunch and a building that stays unlocked every day. If you have not been to church in twenty years, or ever, nobody will ask.

Stay as long as you like, sit wherever you want.

Sunday mornings, midweek groups, and a building that stays unlocked when nobody is preaching in it. Children are welcome in the service, and there is a corner with books if they get restless.

What actually happens at ten o’clock.

9.50Someone says hello at the doorAnd hands you a booklet with every word in it, so you never have to guess.
10.00An hour, give or takeHymns, readings, a short sermon and communion. Sit or stand when you like; nobody minds.
11.05Coffee at the backProper coffee, squash for children, and nobody will pin you down.

Step-free through the south door, a hearing loop, and a toilet in the hall.
