What we advise on

Five things, and the people who ask.

1

Retirement income

Planning to stop in the next ten years

When, how much, and from which pot first. Drawdown, annuities, or both.

2

Pensions

Anyone with more than one

Old workplace schemes traced, compared and, where it helps, brought together.

3

Investments

Savings doing nothing in the bank

ISAs and general accounts in low-cost funds, rebalanced once a year.

4

Protection

A mortgage, children, or a business

Life, income and critical illness cover, sized to what would actually be needed.

5

Passing it on

Thinking about the next generation

Inheritance tax, gifts and trusts, worked out alongside your solicitor.

How advice works

Four steps, and you decide at each one.

1

The first meeting

An hour, free. What you have, what you want, and what advice would cost.

2

The research

We gather the statements and do the sums. You do not chase anybody.

3

A written recommendation

In plain English, with the reasons and the costs. Take it away and think.

4

Putting it in place

Only if you say yes. The fixed fee covers it, however many forms it takes.

Common questions

Advice and fees

A disclosed fee, not commission, so the advice is not steering you anywhere.

No minimum for the first meeting. We will tell you honestly if advice is not worth its cost to you.

Fully, and the register entry is linked from the footer.

First meeting

Bring the statements. The first hour is ours.

At your kitchen table or ours. You leave with a plain view of where you stand and what advice would cost, in writing.
