About the appeal
One appeal, one goal, every gift counted.
The winter appeal started as one sponsored walk by a handful of neighbours who knew someone going without heating. It has run every year since, organised by volunteers.
The money is handled by a registered charity, Gift Aid is claimed on every eligible gift, and the accounts are published when the appeal closes.
