Common questions

Fees and process

Fixed where the work allows, hourly where it does not, always agreed in writing first.

It depends on the other side. You will get a realistic range, not an optimistic one.

A named solicitor with a direct line. You will not be passed round the firm.
How a matter runs

Four stages, and a bill that matches the quote.

FILE 01

The first half hour

Free. Where you stand, what it would take, and what it would roughly cost.

FILE 02

A letter of engagement

The fee, who does the work, how long it should take. Nothing starts until you have it.

FILE 03

The work

One named solicitor, a direct number, and an update every week the matter is moving.

FILE 04

Closing the file

A final bill that matches the quote, and your original documents back.

First consultation

The first half hour is free.

Tell us what has happened. You will get a straight answer about whether you have a case, what it would take, and roughly what it would cost.

Or ring and ask for whoever is free. Calls are returned the same day.
