Teachers who still play.
Everyone who teaches here performs, most of them for a living. That is the difference you hear after a term: the lesson is about music, not about the next page of the book.
Five rooms above the shops, a big room with a grand for the concerts, and a hire cupboard so nobody buys an instrument before they know they want one. We teach from six upwards, and adults are a third of the school.

Twelve weeks, one slot, your teacher.
Lessons are booked by the term so the slot is yours. Miss one with a day's notice and we swap it; miss one without and we cannot.
Three terms a year, following the school calendar. Paid at the start of each one, and split in two if that helps.
The same person, the same room, the same time. Changing teacher is possible, and rare.
Grades are there for anyone who wants a target. Nobody is entered by default.
Half an hour. On us.
A trial lesson with a teacher on the instrument you want, at the level you are actually at. Then you decide, and we tell you honestly if there is a wait.
Instruments to borrow for the trial. No card, no term commitment.
