What it costs.
From-prices for a typical job, fixed in writing before I start. Changes are agreed before they are billed, never after. The day rate is $550 and a half day is $300.
Identity
Research and two directions, then the chosen one refined: mark, wordmark, type, colour, and a short guide. Files in every format. Four to six weeks.
Poster or single piece of print
One piece, designed and proofed on the actual stock with the printer. A week.
Brochure, catalogue or book
Layout, type and image direction across the whole thing, and the press pass.
Packaging
Structure, dieline, label and the print spec. Mock-ups on the real board before sign-off.
Art direction
A campaign, a shoot or a launch. The idea and the references, and being there when it is made.
Brief, two directions, one pushed hard, the printer.
You are in the room for the calls that matter and nowhere near the ones that do not.
Brief
A call about the problem, the audience and what success actually looks like. Written up and agreed.
Concepts
Two directions, presented with the reasoning rather than just the pictures.
Refinement
The strongest one, pushed. Two rounds, with you in the room for the decisions.
Handover
Final files, working formats, a proof from the printer, and a short guide.
Taking on new projects.
Scope, timing and a budget range if you have one. I reply to everything within two working days, including the declines.
One person, start to finish. No account managers.
