About us
A rescue run on volunteers and stubbornness.
Eleven kennels, a cattery, a meeting room with a sofa, and about forty volunteers. We are an independent charity: no national organisation behind us and no head office.
We keep every animal until the right home turns up, however long that takes, and every animal we rehome can come back to us at any point in their life.

A day at the kennels
Mostly walks, washing and sitting with the nervous ones.
8.00Breakfast, kennels cleaned, medicines given.
10.00The first walks, in pairs, across the fields behind us.
14.00Visitors meet the animals in the meeting room.
17.00Tea, a last walk, and someone reading to the shy ones.

Give monthly
A small monthly gift feeds the ones still here.
Monthly is worth more than it sounds: it is the only part of the budget we can plan around, and it is what lets us say yes when somebody rings about an animal.
