The fair questions

Nearly all of it. Nobody here is paid a salary out of donations, the building is lent to us, and the only deductions are the card processing fee and the insurance. You can tick the box to cover the fee, and about half of people do.

Because it is the only part of our income we can plan around. $10 a month is worth more to us than a hundred once, since it is what lets us say yes when somebody rings on a Tuesday about a dog we have no space for yet.

Whenever you like, from the link in any of the receipts, and it stops immediately. You will not get a phone call about it - we would rather you came back later than felt cornered now.

Yes, and some weeks it is more useful. Blankets, unopened food, newspaper and old towels always go. Ring first before bringing anything large, and please do not leave things at the gate overnight.
