The farm

A hundred acres and a barn with a till.

Third generation on the same fields. Veg on twenty acres, hens in the orchard, the rest grazed by the neighbour’s sheep.

The shop opened when we got tired of selling everything to a wholesaler. Now most of it goes out of the barn door, to people who can see the field it came from.
