Before you ask

The four questions we get most

Because it is a different mug. Glaze moves in the kiln and no two firings land the same, so the photograph is the shape and the colour family rather than the exact piece. If yours is not what you hoped for, send it back.

Usually, if it is close to something we already make: a set of six in one glaze, a different size, a name on the base. Commissions take four to six weeks and are paid half up front. Send a message and we will say honestly whether it is a good idea.

To a few shops, in small quantities, and only for things we can make repeatedly. Tell us what you would want and roughly how many, and we will tell you what the kiln can keep up with.

The stoneware is, and the microwave is fine too. Anything with a raw or gold-touched rim is on the product page as hand-wash, and the textiles are cold wash, dry flat.
