About

Ten years in, still editing.

I started as a copywriter in an agency, moved to design because nobody would set my words properly, and ended up doing both. Now I work alone, for small teams, on the pages that have to earn their keep.

I give two or three talks a year, mostly on writing for screens, and send a monthly letter to about four thousand people about the same subject. Both are free to read and expensive to write.

Based in the city, happy on a train, less happy on a plane. I answer every message myself.

Talks and writing

Recent, and next.

Slides go up the same day. The letter goes out on the first Thursday of the month.

Send a note. I answer them all.

Talks, advisory and the occasional project. Tell me what you have in mind and when it needs to happen, and you will hear back from me, not an assistant, within two days.
