About the salon
One room, two groomers, no cages.
We will tell you honestly what a coat needs rather than what is quickest, and no dog is kept longer than the job takes. Most are home in two to three hours.
Anxious animals are booked at either end of the day and we stop rather than push through. It takes longer and it is the only thing that works.
How a groom goes
Bath, dry, trim, home.

1The lookCoat, skin, ears and nails checked on the table, and a price agreed before the water goes on.
2The bathWarm water, a shampoo for the coat type, and a conditioner if it needs it. Rinsed until it squeaks.
3The dry and the trimHand dried, never in a cabinet. Then clippers or scissors to the shape that suits the coat, or the one you asked for.
4HomeA text when they are ready, and an honest word about how it went. A bandana if they want one.
