Google review link generator

Turn your Place ID or Google Maps link into a link that opens the review box straight away, with a message you can send beside it.

Questions

Google's Place ID finder is the reliable way: search for your business and it shows the id, or gives you a link containing it. Paste either here. Your Business Profile does not display it anywhere, which is why this is the question everyone gets stuck on.

A maps.app.goo.gl link hides the id behind a redirect, and following links from a public form is not something we are willing to do from our servers. Open the short link in a browser and paste the full address from the address bar instead.

No. A cid is a different identifier and cannot be turned into a Place ID without asking Google. We would rather tell you that than hand you a link that looks right and goes nowhere - you would find out when a customer tried it.

Please do not. Incentivised reviews break Google's policies, and in the UK and EU they break consumer law on fake and solicited reviews - the penalties land on the business, not the customer. Asking plainly works: the message suggested here offers nothing in return, on purpose.

Shortly after the work is done, while it is still fresh - a day is about right, and three weeks later just reads as odd. On a Webkio site this is automatic: review requests go out a day after an order or appointment, once per customer, without you remembering.
