Yes - the Starter plan comes with a 14-day free trial. You add a payment method to start it (handled securely by our payment provider), you're not charged during the trial, and it becomes a paid Starter subscription when the trial ends unless you cancel before then. The Free plan is separate - it's free forever and needs no card.

If you don't cancel before the trial ends, your Starter subscription begins and your card is charged for the first billing period. Cancel anytime during the trial and you won't be charged - your account moves to the Free plan (no time limit) and your sites and data stay.

Your customers pay into your own Stripe account, never into ours. Payments run on Stripe Connect, so the charge is made on your account and we are never holding your money. On the plans that can sell online we take a percentage of each payment as an application fee on that charge: Starter 2%, Growth Business 1%, Agency 1%. Donations have their own rate (Starter 1%). Stripe charges its own processing fee separately, which Stripe sets and takes directly. The percentage applies to what is paid through your site by card: shop orders, bookings, rentals and payment links. When somebody pays you in cash, by bank transfer or in person, nothing passes through Stripe and we take nothing.

Yes, you can upgrade or downgrade anytime from your billing settings. Upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated for the rest of your current period; downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period, so you keep everything you paid for until then.

No. Free, automatic SSL is included on every plan - including the Free plan and your own custom domain. We issue and renew the certificates for you, so your site is always served over secure https:// with the padlock, at no extra cost and with zero setup.

Subscriptions are handled by Creem, our payment provider and merchant of record. You can pay with all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) and PayPal. All payments are processed securely and encrypted by Creem.

Applicable VAT or sales tax is calculated and added at checkout based on your billing country, and collected by our merchant of record. The price you see on this page is the plan price before tax.

Absolutely. You can cancel anytime from your billing settings. You keep paid features until the end of the current period, then your account reverts to the Free plan - your sites and data stay, subject to the Free plan's limits. To remove everything, you can delete your account, which erases your data.

Every plan includes email support. Enterprise accounts get priority handling - their requests go to the front of the queue.
