Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets out what you may and may not do with the Webkio platform and any website you build, host, or publish with it (the "Service"), operated by [protected] ([protected]). It forms part of, and is subject to, our Terms & Conditions. Capitalised terms have the meaning given there. If you do not agree with this AUP, do not use the Service.

1. Your Responsibility

We provide website-building tools and hosting infrastructure only. We do not create, control, endorse, or verify what you publish, and - apart from the abuse-prevention measures below - we are not responsible for your websites, your content, the goods or services you offer, or the conduct of your End Users. You alone are responsible for everything you and your End Users do through the Service, and for complying with all laws that apply to you and your business. You are also responsible for your End Users' compliance with this AUP.

2. Prohibited Content

You must not use the Service to create, upload, host, store, distribute, link to, or otherwise make available any content that:

• is unlawful, or promotes or facilitates unlawful activity;
• sexually exploits or endangers minors, or constitutes child sexual abuse material (CSAM) - we report this to the relevant authorities without exception;
• is pornographic, sexually explicit, sexually suggestive, or otherwise adult ("NSFW") in nature;
• is defamatory, harassing, threatening, or incites violence, terrorism, or hatred against people based on protected characteristics;
• infringes intellectual property, trade-secret, publicity, or privacy rights;
• is fraudulent, deceptive, or a scam (including phishing, fake shops, counterfeit goods, or "get-rich-quick" schemes);
• sells or promotes goods or services that are illegal in the jurisdictions you target (e.g. controlled drugs, weapons, or regulated products sold without required authorisation);
• contains malware, spyware, or code designed to disrupt, damage, or gain unauthorised access to systems or data.

These prohibitions apply equally to content produced with the Service's AI or automated-generation features. You must not use those features to generate, request, or attempt to produce sexual, pornographic, NSFW, hateful, violent, self-harm, or otherwise harmful or unlawful content, nor to create face-swap, deepfake, or other deceptive manipulated media of real people. We screen generation requests and block content that violates these rules.

3. Prohibited Conduct

You must not, and must not allow anyone to:

• send spam, bulk unsolicited messages, or communications that breach anti-spam or e-privacy laws (you must have a lawful basis and honour opt-outs for every recipient);
• harvest, scrape, or collect data from the Service or other users without authorisation;
• probe, scan, overload, or attempt to bypass the security, rate limits, or access controls of the Service;
• use the Service to distribute malware, run phishing or command-and-control infrastructure, mine cryptocurrency without authorisation, or proxy/relay traffic to hide its origin;
• impersonate any person or organisation, or misrepresent your affiliation;
• interfere with other users' use of the Service, or with our systems, network, or providers;
• resell, sublicense, or expose the Service in a way that competes with us without our written permission.

4. How We Keep the Service Safe

Keeping the internet and our users safe from abuse matters to us. We do not pre-screen or monitor everything published through the Service, and we have no general obligation to do so, but we take reasonable measures to detect, deter, and stop illegal and harmful use - including automated and manual content-safety and moderation checks, malware/phishing and malicious-URL screening, rate limiting, spam and fraud detection, and review of the reports we receive. These measures are provided on a reasonable-efforts basis and do not make us the author, publisher, or controller of your content, do not create a duty to monitor, and do not guarantee that all violations will be caught.

5. Reporting Abuse

If you believe content or activity on a site hosted by us violates this AUP or the law, please tell us via our Report Abuse page, or email [protected]. Include the URL(s), a description of the issue, and your contact details so we can follow up. For intellectual-property complaints, tell us who you are, the work concerned, the infringing URL(s), and a statement that you are the rights holder or authorised to act; knowingly false reports may lead to liability.

6. Enforcement

Where we become aware of a violation, we may take any action we consider appropriate and proportionate, at our discretion and without prior notice where necessary, including:

• removing or disabling access to the content in question;
• issuing a warning, or requiring you to fix the issue within a stated time;
• suspending, rate-limiting, or terminating the affected Published Site or your account;
• preserving relevant records and cooperating with, and reporting to, law-enforcement authorities and other competent bodies where we consider it appropriate or are legally required (for example in matters involving CSAM, terrorism, fraud, or credible threats to safety).

We aim to act proportionately and, where practical, to give you an opportunity to remedy a violation before terminating access - except where the content is manifestly illegal, poses a risk to safety, or where the law requires immediate action.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this AUP from time to time to reflect new features, risks, or legal requirements. We will post the updated version here and revise the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
