What it checks
SEO
Title and meta description, whether they are the right length, heading structure, a single H1, image alt text, and whether the page tells search engines to skip it.
Content
Placeholder text left in, pages too thin to rank, links that say "click here", and links that no longer go anywhere.
Accessibility
WCAG criteria that can be judged from the markup: images without alt text, buttons and links with no accessible name, form fields with no label, iframes with no title.
Page weight
Images shipped far larger than they are displayed, which is the usual reason a page feels slow on a phone.

What does the checker actually look at?
It fetches the page as a visitor would and runs the same static analysis the builder runs on your own pages: SEO signals like the title, description and heading structure; content problems like placeholder text and thin pages; accessibility against WCAG success criteria that can be judged without a browser; and page-weight and broken-link checks.
Is this the same as a page-speed test?
No. Speed needs a browser and real visitors, and this is a static analysis of the HTML. It will tell you a page is carrying oversized images or broken links, which is usually where the weight is, but it does not measure load time.
Do I need an account?
No. There is no signup, no email and nothing to install. Paste an address and read the report.
Can I check a competitor?
Yes. It only reads the public page, exactly as a search engine would.
Why did my site come back empty?
Pages that build themselves entirely in the browser can look empty to anything that does not run JavaScript, which includes some crawlers and assistants as well as this checker. That is worth knowing about rather than working around.
Does a perfect score mean my site is fine?
It means the problems this analysis can see are gone. It says nothing about whether the page is worth reading, priced clearly, or aimed at the right person, and those decide more than any checklist.
