Accessibility Statement
Last updated: July 8, 2026 · Version 1.2
[protected] is committed to making the Webkio marketing website and platform accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We believe an accessible web is a better web for all users, and we treat accessibility as an ongoing part of how we build, not a one-time project.
1. Conformance Status
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, and neurological disabilities.
This marketing website is substantially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA, meaning most of the content meets the standard. We are actively working to reach full conformance across all pages and are continually improving.
2. Measures We Take
To support accessibility, our site is built with:
- Semantic HTML with landmark regions (
header, nav, main, footer) and a "skip to main content" link. - A logical heading structure (one
h1per page, no skipped levels). - Text alternatives for meaningful images, and decorative icons hidden from assistive technology.
- Form fields with associated labels, and clear error and status messaging.
- Colour contrast that meets the WCAG AA 4.5:1 ratio for normal text.
- Full keyboard operability, visible focus, and ARIA attributes on interactive components (menus, accordions, tabs, dialogs).
- Respect for the operating-system "reduced motion" preference.
- Responsive layouts that adapt to zoom and small screens.
3. Compatibility
Webkio is designed to work with current versions of major browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge) and with assistive technologies such as screen readers and speech-recognition software. It may not perform optimally on browser or assistive-technology versions more than two major releases old.
4. Known Limitations
Despite our best efforts, some content may not yet be fully accessible. Known areas we are improving include third-party embedded content (for example payment checkout and analytics widgets) and some complex interactive previews. Where third-party components fall short of the standard, we work with the providers and seek accessible alternatives.
Note that websites built and published by our users with the Webkio builder are created and controlled by those users; their accessibility is the responsibility of each site owner. We provide accessible components and an accessibility checker to help them.
5. Feedback
We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of Webkio. If you encounter a barrier, or need information on this site in a different format, please tell us:
- Email: [protected]
- Contact form: our contact page
We aim to respond to accessibility feedback within 5 business days.
6. Assessment & Approach
We assess the accessibility of Webkio through a combination of internal review against the WCAG 2.1 AA success criteria, automated testing tools, and manual keyboard and screen-reader checks. Accessibility is reviewed as part of our ongoing development process.
