Put your hire stock online and let a site foreman check what is free at seven in the morning instead of ringing the yard. Every machine and tool shows its photos, specification and daily rate, and because availability counts the units you own, two jobs can never be promised the same breaker. Customers pay the hire and a damage deposit through your own Stripe account before it leaves the yard. The form keeps a damage waiver and drops the driver age, licence, mileage and fuel policy a car needs - and a tool for the weekend prices one way while plant on a fortnight hire picks up your weekly rate.
Building your site, pages and blog are free forever. Equipment hire website builder is not - it needs Starter ($14.99/mo). The 14-day free trial covers it, and starting the trial needs a card. That tier covers 50 items and 200 hires a month, and carries a 2% platform fee per online payment (1% from Growth Business up); bigger inventories are on Growth Business.
Before you start the trial
- Nothing is charged today. Cancel any time before day 15 and you are not charged at all - the account moves to the Free plan and your site and its data stay.
- Taking payment runs through your own Stripe account. Connecting it is a separate identity check with Stripe that can take a few days, so start it on day one if you want to take a real payment inside the trial.
- The trial runs on Starter only. Moving up a plan part-way through ends the trial and starts the paid subscription, so if you already know you need the bigger tier, start there instead.

Availability by the unit
Record how many of each item you own. Four breakers mean four hires, not five, worked out in real time and locked at checkout so two jobs never hold the same machine.
A form built for a yard
A damage waiver and nothing else. Driver age, licences, mileage and fuel policy all go, because a customer collecting a dumper or a breaker is asked none of it.
Weekly and monthly rates
A day rate for a quick job, a weekly rate from seven days and a monthly from twenty-eight for a long one, with the better of the two applied automatically - the pricing a plant hirer lives on.
The deposit is held, not taken
The damage deposit goes on the card as an authorisation through your own Stripe account. A compactor and a cordless drill can carry very different holds; capture one if it comes back damaged, release it in a click if not.
Consumables and extras
Blades, discs, fuel, a transformer or a spare breaker point, each listed with its own price and added to the hire rather than invoiced in pieces afterwards.
A floor under short hires
A minimum hire length per item, raised for particular periods, so a machine not worth loading onto a van for a single day gets a sensible minimum without you turning bookings away by hand.
More than one depot
