QR code generator

For a menu link, your phone, or the cafe wifi. Download a sharp PNG or a print-ready SVG - free, no watermark, and it never expires.

What should it do?

Example

QR code for https://webkio.com

This one points at webkio.com - fill the form in for yours.

It is yours, and it is permanent. The code points straight at what you put in it - there is no watermark, nothing routes through us, and it will not stop working. Download the SVG for anything going to print, so it stays crisp however large you blow it up.

Questions

Yes. The code is yours, there is no logo stamped on it, and it does not expire. Some QR sites give you a code that routes through them and stops working when you stop paying - this is not that. The code points straight at whatever you put in it.

PNG for a screen or a quick print. SVG if it is going on anything large or properly printed - a poster, a sign, a table tent - because a vector stays sharp at any size, while a PNG blown up goes blocky.

Almost always the password. If it contains a semicolon, comma, colon, quote or backslash, a lot of generators produce a broken code - this one handles those correctly. Check too that you picked the right security type; most home and cafe wifi is WPA.

How much of the code can be damaged or covered and still scan. Higher correction makes a denser code but survives a scuff, a fold or a small logo in the middle. If it will be printed small or handled a lot, use High.

As a rule of thumb, about 2cm square scans at arm's length, and bigger is always safer. Keep a clear margin of blank space around it - a code crammed against other print is hard for a camera to find.
