This policy explains how subscriptions, payments, upgrades, cancellations, and refunds work for the Webkio Service. It forms part of our Terms & Conditions.
Webkio offers a free plan and paid subscription plans. Paid plans are billed in advance for the billing period shown at checkout (for example monthly or yearly). The features and limits of each plan are described on our Pricing page. Your current plan, renewal date, and status are always visible in your account billing settings.
Payments are handled by Paddle, which acts as our Merchant of Record. Paddle is the seller of record for your purchase and is responsible for charging your payment method and for collecting and remitting applicable sales tax or VAT. Card details are entered into Paddle's secure checkout; we do not receive or store full card numbers. Your purchase is also subject to Paddle's buyer terms.
Prices may be shown exclusive or inclusive of tax depending on your location. Applicable VAT/sales tax is calculated and added at checkout by Paddle based on your billing country.
Recurring subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current price, using your saved payment method, until cancelled. We will charge the renewal unless you cancel before the renewal date.
You can change your plan at any time from your account billing settings:
You can cancel a paid subscription at any time from your billing settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you keep access to paid features until then, and you will not be charged again. After the period ends, your account reverts to the free plan. We do not provide automatic prorated refunds for the unused portion of a period that you cancel, except where required by law (see Section 8).
If a renewal payment fails, the payment provider may retry it and your subscription may be marked past-due. If payment cannot be collected, your subscription may be downgraded or suspended. You can update your payment method via the billing settings.
Subscriptions are generally non-refundable once a billing period has started, except:
Approved refunds are issued through Paddle back to your original payment method. Processing times depend on your bank or card issuer.
Email contact@webkio.com from the email address on your account, with your account details and the reason for the request. We aim to respond promptly. Once approved, the refund is created through our payment provider and confirmed back to us automatically.
If you have a billing concern, please contact us first — we can usually resolve it faster than a chargeback. Initiating a chargeback without contacting us may lead to suspension of your account pending resolution.
We may change plan prices. Changes do not affect the current paid period; we will give reasonable notice before a change applies to your next renewal, and you may cancel before it takes effect.
