Most small businesses pay for email separately, then spend an evening a month copying names between it and everything else. Here the list is already in the building: somebody who orders from your shop, books an appointment or sends a message through the contact form can join it at that moment, with their consent, and you write to them from the same place you edit the site. Nothing to connect, nothing to export, and no second subscription for the privilege.

Building your site, pages and blog are free forever. Email marketing for small business is not - it needs Starter ($14.99/mo). The 14-day free trial covers it, and starting the trial needs a card. Starter covers 1,000 subscribers and 200 sends a month; Growth Business raises that to 5,000 and 1,000, and adds automations and sending from your own address.

Before you start the trial

  • Nothing is charged today. Cancel any time before day 15 and you are not charged at all - the account moves to the Free plan and your site and its data stay.
  • Taking payment runs through your own Stripe account. Connecting it is a separate identity check with Stripe that can take a few days, so start it on day one if you want to take a real payment inside the trial.
  • The trial runs on Starter only. Moving up a plan part-way through ends the trial and starts the paid subscription, so if you already know you need the bigger tier, start there instead.
  • One trial per account.

A list that fills itself

Orders, bookings and contact-form messages can add a subscriber at the point they happen, so the list grows from the business rather than from a signup box nobody fills in.

Campaigns written where the site lives

Compose, send and see what happened without leaving the dashboard. The people, the products and the booking diary are already here.

Segments, so you are not mailing everyone

Write to the customers who bought a particular thing, or booked in the last month, instead of the whole list every time.

Automations that run without you

A welcome message, a follow-up after a booking, a nudge to somebody who has not been back. Set once and they keep running. Growth Business and up.

Deliverability taken seriously

Bounces and complaints are suppressed automatically so a bad address cannot quietly damage the rest of your sending. On Growth Business you can send from your own domain.

You can see what it earned

Sends are attributed against the orders that followed them, so a campaign is judged on what it brought in rather than on an open rate.

How it works

Live in an afternoon - no code, no plugins.

1

Let the site collect

Turn on subscribing at checkout, at booking, or on the contact form - wherever your customers already arrive.

2

Write the first one

Pick a list or a segment, write the message, and send it. No template language to learn.

3

Keep the good ones

See which sends produced orders, then turn the ones that worked into automations that run on their own.

Frequently asked questions

No. The free plan collects up to 50 subscribers a month so the list starts filling from day one, but sending campaigns begins on Starter. That is the honest line: you can build the list for nothing and pay when you want to write to it.

Starter covers 200 sends a month against a list of up to 1,000 subscribers. Growth Business raises it to 1,000 sends and 5,000 subscribers. Those are the numbers on the plans rather than a fair-use promise.

On Growth Business, yes - your own domain, with the DNS records to authenticate it. Below that, campaigns go out from a Webkio sending address, which is a real difference worth knowing before you choose a plan.

If you run sophisticated multi-branch automations, probably. What is here covers the campaigns and follow-ups a small business actually sends, with the list already attached to the shop and the diary. The argument is one tool instead of two, not feature parity with a product that does only this.

They are suppressed and stay suppressed, across every list. That is not a courtesy, it is what keeps the rest of your mail arriving - a bad address mailed repeatedly is how a sender starts landing in spam.
