How it actually works

Webkio publishes two nodes to n8n: a trigger that fires the moment something happens on your site, and an action node that adds or looks up contacts, subscribers, blog drafts and orders. They are verified by n8n, so they install from the nodes panel on n8n Cloud as well as self-hosted. Activating a workflow registers its webhook with us; deactivating it removes the webhook again.

Setting it up

1. In n8n, search the nodes panel for Webkio and install it.
2. Create an API key in your Webkio account and add it as a Webkio API credential in n8n.
3. Add the Webkio Trigger node, choose an event and optionally one site.
4. Activate the workflow. Every delivery is checked against the webhook signing secret, and anything with a wrong or stale signature is dropped.

When it does not work

The workflow never fires

A Webkio Trigger only registers its webhook when the workflow is ACTIVE. Saving is not enough. Deactivating removes the webhook again, which is why a paused workflow goes quiet rather than queueing.

Deliveries arrive but are rejected

Every delivery is signed. If n8n reports a signature mismatch, the credential and the webhook belong to different Webkio accounts, or the key was rotated after the workflow was activated.

The node does not appear on n8n Cloud

It should - the nodes are verified, which is what allows Cloud installs. Search the nodes panel for Webkio rather than the package name.
