Moving from Wix
Move your Wix site, keeping the addresses you already have
Paste your address and watch it come back as a Webkio site you can click through. Nothing on your current site changes.
November offer: first month free
1 month free on any plan below, then the normal price. Ends 23 November.
Start with the offer - it is applied automatically.
No account, no card, nothing published. Or go straight to rebuilding it as a real site.
What comes across
- Your pages, up to twenty of them, followed in the order your own menu lists them.
- The words on them: headings, the paragraphs under them, your prices where they are written as text.
- Your logo, your photos and the brand colour the page is built around.
- Your phone number, email and postal address, wherever they appear.
- The address of every page, so /about stays /about and nested paths stay nested.
What does not
- Anything running as an app or a widget rather than text on the page. Whatever it was doing, there is a Webkio section that does it - bookings, a shop, forms - and you turn that on instead.
- Pages only reachable behind a login or a member area.
- Enquiries and orders already collected. Those stay in the system that took them.
It rebuilds, it does not copy. We read your words and structure and lay
them out in Webkio's own sections, so what you see is the thing you would actually be
buying, not a screenshot of what you already have.
Your addresses are kept. A page at services/implants arrives at
services/implants. Where an address cannot be kept exactly, the page takes the nearest
one and the old address redirects to it permanently.
Up to twenty pages, followed through your own navigation in the order
your menu lists them. A big site brings its main pages, not its whole archive.
Nothing is published and nothing on your site changes. The preview sits
on a Webkio address search engines are told to ignore, and deletes itself after 72 hours
unless you make a free account to keep it.
Questions about moving from Wix
No. We read your live pages the way a visitor does, so there is nothing to download, unzip or upload. Paste the address and that is the whole input.
No. Nothing is changed or published anywhere. The rebuild lives on a Webkio address that search engines are told to ignore, and it disappears by itself after 72 hours unless you make a free account to keep it. Your site stays exactly as it is until you choose to point your domain, which is one change you make where you bought it.
