These two are aimed at different people, and that is the whole comparison. Webflow gives a designer close to full CSS control and clean code they can export, which is why agencies and design teams like it. Webkio is aimed at the person running the business rather than building the site, so the things that business needs - a store, appointments, rental reservations - are already in the platform.

The verdict

Choose Webflow if design control is the point, you or your agency work visually with CSS, and you want to own exportable code. Choose Webkio if what matters is the business the site runs: taking bookings, hiring things out, selling and emailing your customers, without assembling that from third-party embeds.

Frequently asked questions

At visual design, honestly yes - it gives you a level of control we do not, and its code export is genuinely useful if you may want to take the site elsewhere. It is a different product for a different job.

Not as a native feature it advertises. People do add scheduling through third-party embeds or apps, which works, but it means another subscription and a booking system that does not share a customer list with your site.

No, and that is the trade. You start from a template built for your industry and change what you need. If you want to control every breakpoint and pseudo-class yourself, you will find Webkio limiting and should look at Webflow.

Both output clean, crawlable pages and let you control titles, descriptions, canonicals and sitemaps. Neither has a structural advantage - your content and your site speed decide it.

Compare totals rather than headline plans. Ours is a flat monthly plan plus a small per-sale platform fee, with the store, bookings, rentals and email marketing already in it. Whatever a Webflow build costs, add anything you would bolt on for the capabilities listed above. See our pricing page for current plans.
