Estate agent website examples
An estate agent's website has two audiences: buyers browsing listings that are also on the portals, and sellers deciding who to instruct. The designs here serve both - each property on a page of its own with the photos, floor plan and map, and a valuation request that is the easiest action on the site.
4 designs below, and the six things every good estate agent website has. Designs and listed sites read live; the judgement reviewed 8 November 2026.
What a good estate agent website has
The things the examples below have in common, and the reason each one is there.
Each listing as a page
Address, price, photos, floor plan, map, the agent's name. A listing page that can be shared and found is a listing that works for you, not only for the portal.
Valuation request, everywhere
The seller is the customer. A short valuation form reachable from every page, asking for the address and a phone number and nothing more.
Sales and lettings, clearly separated
A buyer and a tenant search differently. Two entry points, one site, the same agency behind both.
The people
Photos and names of the negotiators and the owner. Instructing an agent is trusting a person; show the people.
Recently sold
What you sold, where, how fast. Evidence for the seller, honestly dated.
The area guides
Schools, transport, the high street - for each area you cover. It is how a local agent out-ranks a portal for "houses in <area>".
What goes wrong
- Listings embedded from a portal feed, so the agency site is a worse copy of the portal with the portal's branding.
- A valuation form that asks twelve questions, when the only ones that matter are the address and a number to call.
- No way to tell sales from lettings until the third click.
4 estate agent website designs to start from
Each one opens as a live preview. The words, photos and colours are yours to change; the working parts stay.
Real Estate Agency
Estate agent: a full-bleed terrace, the real listings with search, the fee on a brick band, neighbourhoods as street-sign plates, a free valuation as the ask.
New Development
A single new-build scheme: show-home booking over the estate, a colour-coded site plan of plots, the spec sheet, the location in minutes, the real plot listings.
Lettings & Property Management
Lettings agency with two doors, renting and letting: the real listings, what every tenant gets, a landlord fee table, viewings and valuations as the ask.
Architecture Studio
Architecture practice as full-bleed plates with monospace captions, a project index table, the studio on a blueprint grid, fee bands, a site visit as the ask.

Frequently asked questions
Can I list properties on my own site as well as the portals?
Yes. Each listing has its own page with photos, floor plan, map and enquiry form, and can be marked under offer, sold or let.
How do I get more valuation requests?
Make the form short and present on every page, and show recently sold homes near the visitor. The guide on valuation requests covers the wording and placement.
Can one site do sales and lettings?
Yes, with separate searches and listing types on one site, and the enquiries routed to the right team.
Do these examples include the listing management?
Yes. Properties, enquiries and settings are part of the site; the design is the surface.
