Size limits
- Per file: up to 5 MB.
- Per plan: your plan also sets a maximum upload size and a total storage allowance. Both are listed on What each plan includes - the smaller of the two limits applies, so a 40 MB file is rejected on a plan whose maximum upload size is 15 MB even if you have storage left.
Why an upload can be rejected
- The file is larger than your plan allows. Check the maximum upload size for your plan.
- You are out of storage. Delete unused files in the media library, or upgrade.
- The format is not on the list above. Convert the image and try again.
- The contents do not match the extension. The file type is verified by inspecting the file itself, not by trusting its name, so a renamed file is refused.
