Set up your shop
The shop turns your site into a place people can buy from - products, a cart, checkout and orders, all built in.
Turn it on
Settings > Shop, then Enable Shop. The Shop group appears in the sidebar with everything else in it.
Settings worth setting first
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Shop email | Where order notifications go. Leave blank to use your account email. |
| Terms & conditions URL | Linked at checkout. Required in most places if you sell to consumers. |
| Flat shipping | One shipping price applied to every order. |
| Free shipping over | Orders above this total ship free. Leave empty for no free-shipping threshold. |
| Let customers create accounts | Adds a My Account area where buyers see their own order history. Without it, checkout is guest-only. |
| Enable returns & withdrawals | Lets buyers request a return from their order, which you then approve or refuse. |
| Let customers review products | Shows star ratings and a Write a review form, with a Verified purchase marker for real buyers. |
Then money
Currency, tax and how you get paid are in Settings > Payments, not here - see Accept payments.
Then products
Add what you sell in Shop > Products - see Add products.
Then put it on the page
The shop pages are provisioned for you, but the section that lists products still has to sit on a page in the builder. Add it, then Publish - the shop is not live until the page is published.
Good to know
- Your plan sets how many products you can list, and a per-sale platform fee applies on some plans. Both are in What each plan includes.
- Turning the shop off hides it, it does not delete anything. Products, orders and customers stay.
