Sales analytics

2 min read Updated Aug 10, 2026

Shop > Sales analytics is the trading view of your shop: what sold, what it earned, and what is about to run out. It is separate from the site-wide analytics dashboard, which counts visitors rather than money.

What is on it

  • Revenue - last 30 days, as a running figure and a chart
  • Paid orders and Pending - see below, the gap between them is worth watching
  • Avg order - your average order value
  • Best sellers - by units and by revenue
  • Low stock - products close to running out

A pending order is a checkout that was started but never paid for. A few is normal. A lot of them, consistently, is a signal rather than noise: it usually means something at the payment step is failing or putting people off.

Those same pending orders are what abandoned-checkout recovery chases, so it is worth reading the two numbers together.

Low stock is the one to actually watch

Best sellers are interesting. Low stock is urgent. A product that goes out of stock stays listed and stops converting, and unless you are looking at this screen nothing tells you. If you only open this page occasionally, open it for that panel.

Cross-check it against wishlists: a saved product that is out of stock is demand you already have and are currently turning away.
