Sync your calendar with Airbnb, Vrbo and Booking.com

5 min read Updated Nov 2, 2026

If you let the same property, vehicle or machine on more than one site, the thing that costs you money is two customers holding the same week. Your calendar address stops half of that: paste it into Airbnb, Vrbo or Booking.com and they will stop offering the dates you have already filled here.

It works in one direction. A booking taken on one of those platforms does not block the dates on your own site, so you still have to enter it here. Read the limits below before you rely on it.

Where to find your calendar address

  1. Go to Rentals, then your items list. It is called Properties, Cars, Bikes, Boats or Equipment depending on what you hire out.
  2. Open an item.
  3. Scroll the right-hand column to Calendar sync (iCal) and press Copy.

There is one address per item, because the other sites list one property or vehicle at a time. A cottage and a studio are two addresses.

The panel only appears once the item has been saved. A brand new item has no address yet.

Paste it into the other site

Where Roughly where to look
Airbnb Calendar, then Availability, then Connect to another website, then Import calendar
Vrbo Calendar, then Import calendar
Booking.com Calendar & Pricing, then Sync calendars, then Import
Google Calendar Other calendars, then the plus, then From URL

They ask for a web address, sometimes called a URL or an iCal link. Paste the whole thing, ending in .ics.

Nothing happens instantly. Each site decides for itself how often to re-read your calendar, which is usually somewhere between a few minutes and a few hours. Give it a day before you decide it has not worked.

What is actually in the feed

Dates, and nothing else. Each booked stretch appears as an entry called Booked.

There is no guest name, no email address, no phone number, no price and no note. You are handing the address to another company, so it carries the least we can get away with.

Three things are deliberately left out:

  • Dates you are simply closed. Being shut on a Sunday does not mean the cottage has someone in it, and blocking every Sunday night on Airbnb would cost you real bookings.
  • Dates past your advance limit. We stop taking bookings that far ahead; you may still be happy to take one through a platform.
  • Items with no units. Until an item has at least one unit it cannot be hired here, so its calendar is published empty rather than blocking a whole year on the other site.

The departure day shows as free, and that is correct

A stay from the 20th to the 23rd blocks the nights of the 20th, 21st and 22nd. The 23rd is the day the guest leaves, so it is offered to the next one.

This catches people out when they check the feed by eye. If you see a booking ending on the 23rd and the 23rd looks free, nothing is broken: that is the morning the keys come back.

Maintenance blocks behave the same way from the other direction. A block you set from the 20th to the 22nd covers the nights of the 20th, 21st and 22nd, and frees the 23rd.

What it does not do

It does not bring bookings back. A reservation made on Airbnb does not appear in your Webkio dashboard and does not block the dates on your own site. Enter it here, or set that property to be booked here, or you have the same double booking from the other direction.

It does not carry prices or minimum stays. Change a price and you change it on each site by hand.

It is not instant. The other site re-reads your calendar on its own schedule, so two guests can still collide inside that window. Fewer double bookings, not none.

If most of your bookings arrive through the big platforms rather than through your own site, a dedicated channel manager does a job this does not, and we would rather say so. Our comparison with Lodgify is honest about where that line falls.

Replacing the address

Replace the address creates a new one and kills the old one immediately.

It applies to every item on that site, not just the one you are looking at, so every platform you have pasted an address into will need the new one. Use it if an address has gone somewhere you did not intend, since a calendar that says when a property is empty is worth treating carefully.

When it does not look right

What you see What it usually is
The other site shows nothing blocked It has not re-read the calendar yet. Give it a day.
The panel is missing on an item The item has not been saved yet. Save it, reopen it.
The feed looks empty Nothing is booked yet, or the item has no units. Both publish an empty calendar on purpose.
The address stopped working Somebody used Replace the address. Copy the new one into each platform.
A platform booking is not here Expected. The feed only goes outwards; enter that booking yourself.
Dates are blocked that should be free Check for a maintenance block on the item, and remember a stay ends on its last night, not its departure day.

Which plan

Rentals are available from Starter upwards, and the calendar address comes with them at no extra cost. See pricing for what each plan includes.
